BJP attacks UPA government on price rise

BJP has sharply attacked the UPA government on the issue of price rise. BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy issued a statement that UPA government has stunned the nation accusing everyone and everything except themselves on their failure to rein the walloping inflation which has touched an all time high of 7.41 % during their tenure. While the spiraling prices gave no indications of sobering, the absurd reactions of the Congress leaders and the UPA allies have made a complete mock of governance.

Union Minister Kapil Sibbal calls it a global phenomenon and dismisses it glaringly that the government does not have a magic wand. Digvijay Singh blames the states for hoarding and black marketing while Lalloo Prasad Yadav calls it the handiwork of corrupt traders. Prithviraj Chavan charges that inflation is as an imported phenomenon.

Spokesperson Manish Tiwari holds Bird Flu responsible for rise of fish prices in West Bengal and the East. Mr. Moily holds the Olympics in Beijing solely responsible for rise of prices of Cement and steel in India. While the blame game is relentlessly on the fact remains that the problem lies within the Congress itself. While the Congress leadership unsuccessfully grapples with the economic fiasco through their outlandish arguments the crestfallen PM is sulking having mismanaged and lost the economic battle leaving the Nation in the hands of destiny. The Congress is in disarray and marks the end of ‘Sonia Raj’.

Demand for White Paper

The Bharatiya Janata Party categorically reiterates the demand made by the National President Sh. Rajnath Singh from the UPA government to come out with a “White Paper” on the catastrophe of rising prices which has engulfed the Nation.

Condemnation of Laloo’s remark

The Bharatiya Janata Prarty severely condemns the callous charge of the Railway Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav accusing a particular community who are traditional supporters of BJP as culprits responsible for price rise. The Prime Minister must come out with a categorical statement whether a Senior Cabinet colleague who makes such bizarre and devastating statement is fit to continue in the Government?

UPA falling apart

The remark of the Lok Janshakti Party leader and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan that ‘UPA won’t fight Lok Sabha poll together” marks the beginning of the end of the UPA coalition by questioning the leadership of Manmohan Singh as the future PM and has challenged the capacity of the PM to rule the Nation.
