Narain Karthikeyan wins Feature Race at Brands Hatch circuit
Narain Karthikeyan of A1 Team India’s won Feature Race at Brands Hatch circuit today. The third season of A1GP came to an end and the 22 different national teams battled for the prestigious title, the World Cup of Motorsport reached the legendary Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit in Kent for the final round this weekend (2-4 May).
A1 Team India driven ahead by Narain Karthikeyan, is had their best-ever season with 40 points in the Championship before the final win.
India’s ranking is number 10 with 61 points. Narain Karthikeyan had secured India’s first ever pole position in the Feature race of A1GP, World Cup of Motor sport, after defeating Britains Robbie Kerr in the qualifying session of the season-ending race at the Brands Hatch circuit on Saturday. Karthikeyan’s pole position in the Feature race for the first time and it gave India a chance to have its second win in the A1GP competition.
This is his second win this season.
