Virtual Classes on Supply Chain Management from CII

CII Institute of Logistics (CIL), a Centre of Excellence in logistics and supply chain management of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is launching its Distance education courses through Video Conferencing across the country. The first virtual classes through video conference mode will be organised on 18th May 2008 from Reliance web world, Chennai and will be continued on 25th May and 1st June, 2008.

Hitherto, CIL was conducting contact classes for its distance mode courses at various cities in India. However, from the Semester commencing January 2008, CIL has introduced Virtual classes through video conferencing with the facilities available at the Reliance web stores spread across India.

CIL is located in Chennai and offers services in the fields of consultancy, training, education, research, events and publications. Under the educational services, CIL offers a Post Graduate Diploma program and Certificate programs in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM) through ‘Distance mode’.

Through this initiative, students of CIL, mostly working executives from different industries would participate in the virtual classes and interact with faculty members from their home towns. The virtual classes are conducted simultaneously in six centres such as; Kolkatta, Cochin, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai & Delhi.
