Women have made great strides but are still considered to be a weaker gender. She has to still fight against all the prejudices, stereotypes, inequality, unfairness, harassments just to stand as an individual in society. Most of us humans have to fight to earn even the basic respect and is much more difficult for the women, who have to raise their voices higher and protest. Patriarchy is still dominant but some women have been strong enough to bring about a change in the society with their exceptional work. One such woman is Shivani Sharma Singh. Shivani has represented India internationally and has also been crowned as Mrs Asia Pacific Exquisite International 2017 in a star-studded, glorious ceremony at Baltimore, USA.
Normally a woman’s career takes a backseat after marriage, but Shivani Sharma Singh is among the few who have speeded their career to the winning position. Shivani is an international model, an entrepreneur, a brand ambassador, a Purpose coach and a mother. Bearing all these responsibilities and raising a child is no cakewalk, but still has taken life in her stride.
With success comes responsibility and Shivani Sharma Singh believes ‘giving back to society’ is her idea of discharging it. She has started an initiative BE You By Shivani. The initiative primarily focuses on sharing Shivani’s knowledge and experience with the youth at school and university level. BE You By Shivani also focuses on self-improvement at all phases of life – Career, Dreams and Life. Founded in 2019, she shares her passion and journey with her readers. Her mission is to empower all with a sense of greater confidence and happiness. She created her own programs like ‘The polished professional’, ‘General Etiquette’, ‘Business Etiquette’, ‘Teens Etiquette’ and so on.  She is also associated with a couple of NGOs to groom the less privileged section of our society as she believes that to develop a country, one must start with the grass-root level.
Being an empowered woman, Shivani understands the value in empowering other women to make them self-sufficient and strong. As the Brand Ambassador of Saarthi, she has coached rural women on their basic hygiene, sanitation and behavioural habits. Under the umbrella of this initiative, she also successfully executed Self Defence training of about 3000 women with the team of Rajasthan Police and State Crime Records Bureau, Rajasthan in 2018.
Shivani has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador of Aptech Montana International Pre School. A community of parents was created especially with moms where Shivani threw some light on correct parenting skills.
Shivani Sharma Singh has been awarded by many prestigious honours for excellence and has been recognized as a figure of change.
