The Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Sharad Kelkar starer ‘Laxmii’ is set for a world television premier on Star Gold on Sunday, 8:00 PM, 21 March 2021. The horror comedy is written and directed by Raghava Lawrence. The plot revolves around “a man possessed by a bloodthirsty spirit of a transgender, who is out to seek revenge from her wrongdoers.”

Elated about the world television premiere actor Akshay Kumar says, “Laxmii is an incredibly unique and special film for me, the journey has been remarkable. Our basic idea was to entertain the audience and deliver a meaningful and timely message and I hope the viewers will enjoy watching ‘Laxmii’ on Star Gold…”

Speaking about the world television premier actor Sharad Kelkar said, “The intriguing horror comedy is bound to engage and entertain the audience.” He went on to say, “I love spending time with my family and watching movies at home. Now with ‘Laxmii’ world television premiere I look forward to enjoying it again with my family. Laxmii is a well packaged horror comedy, and I am sure the audience will enjoy it with their family.”

He also reminisced upon his shooting experience on the sets of Laxmii and said, “It is a special film for all of us, the experience and memories are to be cherished forever. I always look for characters and films which challenge me as an actor and leave an impact on the audience.” The film is led by a brilliant performance by actor Akshay Kumar, who owns the frame right from the first scene.  Along with a gripping and entertaining storyline, the songs from the movie ‘Bhuj Khalifa and Bam Bholle’ also struck the right chords with the audience.” Collectively opined those involved with the project.
