Cummings India showcases a 125kVA generator set and a Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine

-

At the BAUMA CONEXPO 2023 event, which took place in India, Cummins Group presented a range of power technology solutions designed for use in the construction machinery, building materials, mining, and construction vehicles industries.

The corporation demonstrated its cutting-edge technologies and comprehensive product line, including the 125kVA generator set, the Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine (H2 ICE), and service application demonstrations. The 125kVA generator is the most cost-effective option in terms of both its fuel consumption and its overall cost of ownership. Cummins provides a selection of integrated power systems, each component of which, including the engine, alternator, control system, and canopy, is developed, built, and tested within the company’s facilities.

Cummins also demonstrated its most recent H2 ICE engine at the event. This engine is a component of the fuel-agnostic platform concept and has the potential to become the most practical way to achieve zero carbon emissions in the not too distant future. The fuel-agnostic design uses a standard base engine with cylinder heads and fuel systems that can be changed to a wide range of fuels. These fuels include hydrogen, diesel, natural gas, and renewable natural gas. The platform offers original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) a single engine architecture for use with various fuel types, enabling them to reuse many components.

The Cummins service support network offers a broad range of service choices, including engine health checks, maintenance services, repair services, and hassle-free Cummins Warranty administration. These services can be accessed through the network. One of the service applications that was demonstrated was called a Funnel Fuel Filter, and it is a revolutionary heavy-duty, fast-flow filter that is housed in a funnel. This filter removes potentially hazardous free water and pollutants from gasoline, diesel, heating oil, and kerosene. In addition, we demonstrated Clutches, Power Booster Kits, Overhaul Kits, Consumables, and Genuine Parts.

From the 31st of January to the 3rd of February in 2023, the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, which is located in the Delhi National Capital Region, played host to the 6th International Trade Fair edition of BAUMA CONEXPO India.
