The late music great Elvis Presley’s famous white costume and cape are up for sale. According to numerous sources, several additional artefacts that once belonged to the artist are said to be up for sale.

For a series of concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden in 1972, the ‘Jailhouse Rock’ hitmaker wore a white eyelet jumpsuit and cape created by Bill Belew. According to femalefirst.co.uk, the costume is currently up for auction.

Kruse GWS Auctions will begin live bidding on Saturday, with an initial $350,000 for the costume and $50,000 for the cape.

A collection of Presley’s hair kept by the singer’s barber, the helmet he wore in ‘Viva Las Vegas,’ and a Bible gifted to him by a fan are among the artefacts up for auction.

One lucky fan is supposed to have a private lunch with Presley’s ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, in Beverly Hills, who is overjoyed that her former husband’s possessions would be going to good homes.

In an interview with People magazine, Priscilla Presley remarked, “‘Why not be a part of it?’ I reasoned. I used to have a different viewpoint on estate sales, but as I grew older, I realized that you need to pass these items on to someone who will truly enjoy them.”

Meanwhile, the auctioneers are overjoyed to have the ‘Naked Gun’ actress participate in the auction.

Brigitte Kruse, the founder of Kruse GWS, stated, “She has an incredible amount of expertise and understanding. It’s impossible to study and learn about Elvis without also knowing about Priscilla. Their names are interchangeable.”

In honor of the actress’ late mother Ann, who died last month, a portion of the earnings from the meal’s auction will go to a nonprofit that helps terminally ill individuals and their families.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor’s maroon dress from ‘National Velvet,’ Marilyn Monroe’s black sleeveless ‘wiggle’ gown, a red scarf and a red crystal bottle once owned by Jimi Hendrix, and Les Paul’s personal guitar case, which carried the first of his eponymous instruments in 1952, are among the other items in the sleeve.
