Elton John’s last concert in the United States will be remembered for the musician’s tears and the touching video that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recorded for him.
John first spoke about stopping his tour in 2018. Since then, the musician has devoted more time to filming his film, recording an album with the participation of other famous artists, and spending time with his friends. Among which the most rebellious royal couple – were Megan and Harry.
John’s last show in the US as part of his farewell tour was at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. In honour of this, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a touching video tribute recorded in honour of a friend. In the video, the couple congratulated Elton on the end of his “brilliant career”, and the prince took the opportunity to mention his mother, the late Princess Diana.
“Thank you for being a close friend of my mother. And thank you for being a friend to us and our children,” the rebels thanked.
Recall that after escaping from the kingdom, Megan and Harry repeatedly enjoyed John’s hospitality and stayed at his mansion. And the musician himself supported the couple in the decision to abdicate the throne.
