Kristina Asmus only rarely discusses her early life. The actress has confessed on multiple occasions that she does not have a particularly healthy relationship with either of her parents. The movie star had her childhood in a large and impoverished family; as a result, she never had enough money for important things. It would be inaccurate to say that the future artist had a trouble-free childhood. She was expected to dress appropriately for the older community members, and she could only daydream about treats of a more indulgent nature. On the other hand, there was a time when Christina and her sisters considered the possibility that their parents were con artists. The girls were quite concerned and hesitant to enter the orphanage because of their circumstances.
“When I was little, we had such a story at home. I was born into a large family; we lived quite poorly. And then abruptly, a cool TV, a three-chamber refrigerator, a DVD, a microwave, a fashionable vacuum cleaner and even a computer began to appear in our house! My sisters and I thought: that’s it, our parents are bandits! We were notably frightened and were already sure that we would be handed over to an orphanage,” the actress wrote on the social network.
However, it turned out that the explanation for the parents’ newfound prosperity was much more mundane than everyone had anticipated.
Their grandma gifted their parents with a residence in the city of Saratov.

They could begin showing off the money they made after selling it. Kristina acknowledges that she and her sisters experienced “golden youth” for approximately two years. It’s true that after the money ran out, everything went back to how it was before.
The actress’s sisters’ names are Ekaterina, Olga, and Karina. She also has a brother. Asmus had earlier mentioned that she had not been in touch with her mother for a considerable time. The actress admits that the circumstance caused her great mental anguish.
Kristina went so far as to seek the help of a psychotherapist to overcome the insecurities and phobias that she had developed since infancy. And the assistance of a specialist was the only thing that let her come to terms with the traumatic events of the past.
“I can’t forgive. Relationships with my parents are my biggest pain. I need to solve this problem; otherwise, I can’t move on. I do not want to deprive my daughter of communication with her grandparents, but our relationship has not changed in any way so far. I try to work on it,” said the actress.
Since she was a young child, Kristina has always been one to argue. Her parents enrolled her in the gymnastics programme, and she became a contender for the master of sports title. Her younger sister Karina, who also competed in gymnastics and is a true athlete in every sense of the word, is currently employed in the film industry as a stuntman. Karina has frequently filled in for Christina on the set during potentially hazardous sequences.
“My own sister Karina is my closest friend. She is a stuntman in a movie, and for the second time, my understudy,” Kristina had previously revealed.
