According to TMZ’s report, Lisa Marie Presley was taken to the hospital after a heart arrest.
After being administered adrenaline and given chest compressions, Elvis Presley’s daughter, who is now 54 years old, reportedly had a return of her heartbeat.
She is currently being treated in a hospital, but her health status is unknown.
Lisa Marie Presley was in attendance at the Golden Globes on Sunday, where actor Austin Butler, who portrays Elvis in the movie of the same name about the king of rock and roll, was honoured with the award for Best Actor in a Drama.
The outlet reported that Presley was “unresponsive” when her housekeeper discovered her at her home in the celebrity-filled Los Angeles enclave of Calabasas on Thursday morning.
Danny Keough, her ex-husband, who also resides on the property, administered CPR until paramedics arrived and brought her to the hospital.
According to the publication’s sources, it was not a suicide attempt by the singer.
Priscilla Presley confirmed her daughter’s illness via Facebook.
“My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital,” she wrote.
“She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department, which operates paramedic services, would not confirm the patient’s identity, although crews responded at 10:30 a.m. to a woman in her mid-50s suffering cardiac arrest (1830 GMT).
A representative for Lisa Marie Presley did not react quickly to an inquiry from the media.
