Ant-Man and the Wasp is a sequel to the films Ant-Man and Captain America: Civil War, both of which were released in 2016. In this film, which was released in 2018, Scott Lang grapples with the repercussions of his choices both as a superhero and as a parent. As Scott Lang strives to rebalance the responsibilities of his role as Ant-Man with those of his personal life, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present him with a crucial new mission. As the crew strives to uncover their previously hidden truths, it is necessary for Scott to don the suit once more and become familiar with fighting alongside The Wasp.
