Extending its hand to reduce blood scarcity in Mumbai, Sant Nirankari Mission’s Delisle Road and Parel branches jointly organised a Blood Donation Camp at Sitaram Mill Compound Municipal School on Sunday, 4 April 2021 wherein 90 Nirankari members donated blood.

The organisation had also donated blood on 28 March 2021 with 59 members having volunteered. This was organised by the missions Wadala Branch and was held at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Nadkarni Park, Wadala. Blood was collected by Sant Nirankari Blood Bank in both of these camps.

“Despite it being the first day of Holi, on 28th March, Nirankari devotees gave first preference to donate blood in service of mankind. The precautions and guidelines of administration regarding Covid-19 were strictly followed in both the camps,” said an organising member about the drive.

The camp at Delisle Road was inaugurated by the local Sector Sanyojak Gopinath Bamugade while the camp at Wadala was inaugurated by Shankar Sonawane, Sewadal Kshetriya Sanchalak of sector-4, Mumbai. The camps were organised under the guidance of senior members in close coordination with the volunteers of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation and its local units.
