ABP C Voter surveys for assembly elections 2022 in five states is out, and it may not be a piece of good news for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at all. BJP is getting a tough fight in UP, Uttrakhand and Manipur. It is not a significant player in Punjab, and the only consolation is that it may retain Goa. The survey is full of good news for Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Admi Party (AAP).
Uttar Pradesh
BJP could once again form the government in Uttar Pradesh, but it may get a good fight from the Samajwadi Party. According to the latest survey by ABP and C Voter, the Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) does not seem to improve its last performance. Despite Priyanka Gandhi’s hard work, Congress may be reduced to single digits.
The C Voter survey states that in the 403-seat UP assembly, BJP can win 212 to 224 seats, while Samajwadi Party can capture 151 to 163 seats. BSP can get 12 to 24 seats. On the other hand, Congress may be reduced to only 2-10 seats. BJP can get 40 per cent seats in UP, then Samajwadi Party is expected to reach 34 per cent of votes. BSP is likely to get 13 per cent and Congress 7 per cent.
May AAP snatch power from Congress in Punjab?
According to the survey of C Voter, AAP can snatch power from Congress in Punjab. Congress is likely to get 34 per cent votes, while Aam Aadmi Party is expected to get 38 per cent votes. Akali Dal alliance can get 20 per cent, and BJP can get 3 per cent votes. Congress can get 39-34 seats in Punjab, while AAP can win 50 to 56 seats. Akali Dal alliance can get 17 to 23 seats, and BJP can get 0 to 3 seats.
Congress vs BJP in Uttrakhand
According to the latest survey by C Voter in Uttarakhand, there may be a close contest between BJP and Congress. BJP can get 33 to 39 seats, while Congress can get 29 to 35 seats. 0 to 1 seat can go in the account of others. BJP can get 40 per cent vote share, and Congress is likely to get 36 per cent votes. AAP can get 13% votes here.
BJP may come to power in Goa
After losing the elections and forming the government in sly,
BJP may actually win in Goa. According to the survey, BJP can win 17 to 21 seats, and Congress can be reduced to 4-8 seats. AAP can get 5-9 seats, while others can get 6 to 10 seats in their accounts. In Goa, BJP can capture a 30 per cent vote share while Congress can get 20 per cent votes. AAP is likely to get 24 per cent votes.
BJP vs Congress in Manipur
According to the survey, BJP may get 29 to 33 seats in the 60-member assembly in Manipur, and the Congress could capture 23 to 27 seats. Naga People’s Front (NPF) may get 2-6 seats and others 0-2 seats. In Manipur, BJP can get a 38 per cent vote share while Congress can get 34 per cent seats. NPF is expected to reach 9 per cent and others 19 per cent.
