The Syrian air defense forces have destroyed 22 missiles fired by Israel from the Russian-made Buk-M2E and Pantsir-S complexes, said Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties.
He said that there are no losses among the Syrian military personnel as a result of the strikes, and infrastructure facilities have not been destroyed.
The day before, the Syrian army reported that Israeli Air Force fighters from Lebanese territory attacked targets in the suburbs of Damascus and Homs.
Most of the missiles were destroyed by the air defense forces.
Drone destroyed
On July 26, the Syrian air defense forces, with the help of the Pantsir-S complex, managed to eliminate the drone launched by the militants. The drone was destroyed over the province of Hama by the Syrian air defense forces from the Russian-made Pantsir-S self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and cannon system.
