A Collaborative Manufacturing Effort The Ladoga is a product of extensive collaboration across Russia’s aerospace industry. While the fuselage is produced at Aviakor, components such as the wing box, tail assembly, and advanced turboprop engines are being manufactured by key industry players, including the Smolensk Aviation Plant, UZGA's Nizhny Novgorod site, and UEC-Klimov in St. Petersburg. Final assembly will occur at UZGA's state-of-the-art facility in Aramil, Sverdlovsk Region. Prototype Development and Certification The first prototype of the Ladoga is expected to be completed by late 2025, with its inaugural flight projected for early 2026. Static and fatigue test airframes are under production, laying the groundwork for rigorous certification processes involving approximately 800 test flights. The initial series production is scheduled to begin in 2028, with an ambitious goal of delivering 35 aircraft by that year. Adaptability and Versatility Beyond its standard 44-seat configuration, the Ladoga will feature multiple variants, including mixed-use, cargo-focused, medevac, and patrol-rescue versions.
