Central Railway has opened a Pod hotel for passengers at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSTM), Mumbai.
The Pod hotel at Mumbai CSTM is opened under the New Innovative Non-Fare Revenue Income Scheme (NINFRIS).
There are 40 pods, including 30 single pods, six double pods and four family pods. The air-conditioned sleeping Pods provide privacy, Mobile charging facility, a Locker room facility, a Fire alarm, Intercom, a Deluxe toilet & bathroom etc. It is spread over 131.61 sq meters of space.
These pods can be booked at reception or via the mobile app.
