Burning Abrams: Photos Show Another US Tank Destroyed in Ukraine

Amidst the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, a recent article in the Western press highlighted a significant development. The United States administration, concerned about the strategic implications, had reportedly urged the Ukrainian Armed Forces to halt the deployment of M1 Abrams tanks to the front lines. The tanks, it was argued, were being destroyed without making substantial contributions to the combat operations.

Despite the US administration’s request, the Ukrainian command has chosen to stand firm. Disturbingly, reports of new knocked-out ‘Abrams’ continue to flood in from the Avdiivka (Pokrovsk) direction of the front line. These reports, far from being mere rumors, are accompanied by compelling photo and video evidence. Just this morning, thematic channels on social networks began circulating images of another hit M1 Abrams, this time with the engine compartment ablaze.

The tank now has reactive armor, unlike previous ‘Abrams’ models, which lacked this feature. In a strategic move to safeguard American technology, the US provided ‘Abrams’ to Ukraine in a somewhat ‘stripped-down’ condition, without depleted uranium armor plates and reportedly without an electronic firing control system.
