Medvedev – response to Western missile strikes on Russia “will not only fly to Kyiv.”

-

Countries in the West should recognize that giving Ukraine weapons for strikes against Russia will result in a response that “will not only fly to Kyiv.” Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation’s Security Council, stated this on his Telegram channel, adding that the technique is now being practiced during missile exercises.

“[Missiles aimed at Russia] Storm Shadow / SCALP-EG are not controlled by people in embroidered shirts, but specifically by the British and the French. Under certain circumstances, the response to such actions will not only target Kyiv. And not just with conventional explosives, but also with special ammunition,” wrote Medvedev.

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation added that “practicing responses to such attacks is the goal of planned exercises,” currently taking place in the south of Russia.

On May 6, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced preparations for impending missile unit exercises in the Southern Military District, including aviation and the navy. The units will simulate the use of tactical nuclear weapons. The quick preparedness is ascribed to Western officials’ inflammatory words.
