The movement of a column of T-14 “Armata” tanks has been made public by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The film was uploaded to the Russian Spring portal on December 25th, when it was first made public. There needs to be more information provided regarding the location of the tanks’ battle drills.
The appearance of video frames displaying a column of heavy combat vehicles marching took place against the backdrop of reports that T-14 Armata tanks would begin conducting combat missions in the war zone between Russia and Ukraine at the beginning of the following year. This may indicate that these tanks will be sent to the front lines in the next few weeks or the next few days.
As seen in the video, at least three T-14 Armata tanks are pushing their mobility training to the test as part of a tank battalion.
Some sources suggest that ground-based deployment duties are currently being practised, while other sources state that a column of military equipment is now in transit. Both of these claims have been made by various sources. Because this piece of military equipment can be moved as a platoon, this assertion may be true.
It is currently unknown how many T-14 Armata tanks are in possession of the Russian army because no official information has been made public regarding the delivery of these military vehicles to the troops; however, it is believed that the number of these tanks is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 30 units.
In August of 2021, a trial run of the most recent iteration of the T-14 tank was sent to the Russian Ministry of Defense for evaluation.
Denis Manturov, the chairman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Russia, announced in July of the same year that mass production of the T-14 Armata would commence in Russia in the year 2022.
During the special operations, Russia has deployed in Ukraine nearly the entirety of its tank inventory in the country, including the T-90M Proryv, which officially went into service in April 2020. In October, a lone T-14 was spotted in the Midginskaya settlement, which is located in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR).
T-14 Armata tanks will serve as mobile headquarters
According to sources within the Ministry of Defense who spoke to Izvestia in February 2021, the T-14 tank will evolve into a true mobile headquarters. This will be made possible by a one-of-a-kind automated control system that will allow commanders, with the assistance of the Armata, to control other combat vehicles in real-time.
On a one-of-a-kind screen that is mounted inside of the “Armata,” the commander of a tank company or battalion will be able to view not only the locations of the adversary’s combat vehicles but also the whereabouts of his combat vehicles, as well as their mission, their current technical condition, and how much ammunition they have.
To provide a command, the commander has to point to a specific area or target and press a few keys. In real-time, the commander will have the ability to issue orders for artillery and aerial strikes.
Since the end of World War II, the Soviet industry has consistently developed command variants of the main battle tanks. These command versions include the T-62K, the T-72K, the T-80UK, and others. These vehicles are under the direction of the respective battalion commanders. .The Russian army has developed over a hundred contractor-staffed tactical groups that are ready for immediate deployment.

Uralvagonzavod is responsible for developing the heavy-tracked platform known as “Armata.” It serves as the foundation for the development of a number of other types of armoured vehicles, including the main battle tank, an armoured recovery vehicle, an infantry combat vehicle, and others.
The T-14 can shield itself against various equipment, including anti-tank missiles and hostile aircraft, thanks to the electronic warfare capabilities of the vehicle. If required, the tank will support the BMP by firing from its unique 125-mm cannon.
