A Swiggy delivery boy allegedly killed a restaurant owner over delayed order in Greater Noida.

After a disagreement over a delayed order, a Swiggy delivery boy allegedly killed the restaurant owner. The incident occurred in Greater Noida at 12:15 am today. Sunil, the owner of the Zam Zam food delivery restaurant in Greater Noida’s Mitra Society, died. The alleged delivery boy has eluded capture. It was unclear whether the suspect had been identified.

According to the police reports, a Swiggy delivery boy arrived at the Zam Zam restaurant to collect an order of Chicken Briyani and Puri Sabzi. Narayan, a restaurant employee, handed and him the Biryani and asked him to wait for the second-order as it was taking some time. This infuriated the delivery boy, and they got into a fight.

Sunil arrived and attempted to calm both the delivery boy and Narayan after seeing the verbal spat. The delivery boy, on the other hand, allegedly did not listen and shot Sunil in the head. Sunil passed out, and the delivery boy fled. Sunil was transported to Yatharth Hospital by Narayan and other staff, where he was declared dead. According to reports, some eyewitnesses told officers that the delivery boy was drunk.
