Connectivity Meets Colour: Motorola and Pantone Unveil “Peach Fuzz” Razr 40 Ultra and Edge 40 Neo

-

Pantone, the international authority on colour, and Motorola, a manufacturer of 5G smartphones, have collaborated for the second year to produce devices featuring the Pantone Colour of the Year. The devices selected to symbolise the Pantone Colour of the Year 2024, the PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, further underscore the significance of interpersonal relationships.

Motorola is the first and only smartphone manufacturer to partner with PANTONE, in keeping with its mission to improve people’s lives through meaningful innovation while differentiating through design and colour. The selected colour for the 25th anniversary of the Pantone Colour of the Year programme is PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz this year. PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz, a delicate peach hue with a cosy, tender essence, exemplifies community, cooperation, and unity sentiments.

With its iconic flappable design, the Razr 40 ultra features the world’s largest external 3.6-inch pOLED display, the fastest 144Hz refresh rate, and 1100nits peak luminosity. This flip phone has the industry’s first dual-axis teardrop hinge design, rendering it gapless and extremely thin when folded. Additionally, this design ensures that the phone is indefinitely flexible at multiple flex angles. The phone features a 6.9-inch pOLED display that is virtually creaseless upon opening. It boasts a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and a peak brightness of 1400nits. A potent Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers this flip phone, guaranteeing a fluid experience. The product was introduced in Viva Magenta, the Pantone colour of 2023, and garnered an overwhelmingly positive reception from customers. The smartphone featuring the Peach Fuzz edition in India will be available shortly.

With IP68 waterproof protection, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo is the lightest 5G phone in the world and is resistant to dust, grime, sand, and even a 30-minute submersion in 1.5 metres of fresh water. In addition, its 144Hz pOLED curved display measuring 6.55 inches supports one billion colours, and its 144Hz refresh rate enhances the fluidity of the user interface while complementing the display’s remarkable peak brightness. Additionally, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo is a processing powerhouse, sporting the World’s First MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor, a 6nm chipset that supports Wi-Fi 6E for astounding rates and is equipped with MediaTek HyperEngine game technology to deliver an exceptional gaming experience. Additionally, it supports fourteen 5G frequencies, the most in its category.

Soon to be released in India are the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Motorola Edge 40 Neo in the Pantone Colour of the Year 2024.
