A Teaming Agreement has been signed between Elbit Systems Land (Elbit) and Diehl Defence in the sphere of rocket artillery ammunition for the PULS and EuroPULS launchers.
This collaboration will address the growing European interest in deep strike capabilities and rocket artillery. Elbit and Diehl Defence will provide rockets and advanced training rockets for the PULS and EuroPULS as part of the new partnership. These rockets are expressly designed to meet the rocket artillery requirements of the European Union and the German armed forces.
The EuroPULS Launcher, a joint initiative between Elbit and KNDS Deutschland, is designed to satisfy the technical and operational requirements of NATO and Europe. This initiative is further complemented by the Teaming Agreement between Elbit and Diehl Defence, which will facilitate the development and production of rocket munitions for the PULS and EuroPULS launchers in Europe. This will provide additional local capability, support, and sustainment to all European PULS/EuroPULS members.
This agreement enables Diehl Defence and Elbit to address the ever-increasing challenges of modern fire support by bringing their technological expertise and extensive rocket artillery experience to Germany and other European countries. Diehl Defence has over 40 years of experience in the manufacture of MLRS rockets, as well as the development of guided rocket systems and the necessary submunitions. Diehl Defence is now prepared to reenter the next era of long-range precision rocket artillery effectors in collaboration with a strong partner such as Elbit, leveraging its extensive competencies in system and subsystem development and extant production capacities.
