The document provides an overview of the Crew Module recovery training schedule that will be carried out throughout the mission. It details the total training needs for teams that will be taking part in recovery operations. These teams may include naval aviators, divers, MARCOs (Marine Commando Force), medical professionals, communicators, and technologists.

The training for the Recovery operation is broken down into many stages, starting with unmanned recovery and moving on to manned recovery training in both harbour and open sea circumstances. To lead the recovery operations, the Indian Navy is cooperating with many other government departments.

The Crew Module Recovery Model was also given to the Indian Navy at the Water Survival Training Facility (WSTF) aboard the INS Garuda in Kochi. This facility is located in Kochi. The mass and shape dummy will be utilised by Gaganyaan recovery teams to acquaint and train personnel.

ISRO will also receive assistance from the Indian Navy, which will perform a series of trials to develop the Standard Operating Procedures for training the crew and recovery teams of Gaganyaan. ISRO will use these SOPs to teach the crew of Gaganyaan.
