New Train from Jasidih to New Delhi via Madhupur, Giridih, and Koderma

At the Madhupur station on January 6, Member of Parliament Nishikant Dubey waved a green flag to signal the departure of the Madhupur-Ranchi Express train to Ranchi. While addressing the crowd at the event that was arranged at the station, he claimed that Madhupur City and the Santal Pargana region are experiencing tremendous development.

He said that Madhupur was a part of Bengal up until 1956. As a result of the linguistic separation, Madhupur evolved as a distinct entity from Bengal. The town of Madhupur possesses its own unique identity.

He said a Waggon Pit is required at Madhupur, the largest railway land, to operate long-distance trains from Madhupur. Construction on the Waggon Pit is now underway and will cost 22 crores. The initial stage of the project is scheduled to be finished by February 15. As an additional point of interest, there is a proposal to build a crane shed at Madhupur that has a capacity of 140 tonnes and will cost six crores.

Nishikant Dubey stated that it is essential to make preparations for relief and rescue operations in the event of railway accidents on the Jasidih, Godda, and Dumka routes and rail lines, which require using a crane. The railways have approved the arrangement for a crane with a capacity of 140 tonnes.

The construction of the shed in Madhupur will result in the crane being stationed in that location. He added that the Ranchi-Giridih train had been brought to Madhupur, benefiting those travelling to Hazaribagh from this location.

He pointed out that a new train goes from Madhupur to Jasidih every Wednesday and heads towards New Delhi. The next week, he said that Giridih would also receive a gift.

A train will go from Jasidih to New Delhi via Madhupur, Giridih, and Koderma. The train will then arrive in Delhi. Officials from the Railway Division were present at the event, including DRM Chetananand Singh and other railway security officers. Officials from the Railway Division were also present.
