OnePlus 12 Challenger? Realme GT5 Pro Features 144Hz LTPO Display and 100W Charging

-

Details regarding the Realme GT5 Pro smartphone have been revealed, and the smartphone has now been introduced in China. Realme is promoting it as a competitor to other models, such as the Redmi K70 Pro and the iQOO twelve.

As with the OnePlus 12, the Realme GT5 Pro has a superior-quality OLED LTPO display manufactured by BOE. This display option has a diagonal measurement of 6.78 inches, a resolution of 1.5K, a full-screen brightness of 1200 nits, individual sections of the screen that can exceed 4500 nits in brightness, and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Additionally, Realme has returned the palm unlocking feature in the GT5 Pro, which enables users to execute specific operations with gestures. This feature is comparable to what Google gave in the Pixel 4.

The Realme GT5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which the maker says is the fastest mobile CPU for the Android platform. Using Geek Performance Panel 2.0, enthusiasts can customise the performance of their phones precisely. This panel gives them control over the clock frequency of the central processing unit (CPU), graphics processing unit (GPU), and a wide range of other factors.

It is important to note that Realme did not have 24 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM) in the GT5 Pro, a trend many Chinese manufacturers have adopted. Instead, the device is restricted to 16 gigabytes of RAM. However, given Realme’s practices, the company will likely release a special version of the GT5 Pro with 24 GB of RAM later, as Geekbench has confirmed its existence.

A 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 telephoto lens are the specifications of the cameras that are included in the Realme GT5 Pro. On the front panel is a camera with a resolution of 32 megapixels and is equipped with a Sony IMX615 sensor. It can shoot 4K films at a frame rate of 30 per second. On top of that, the smartphone is equipped with a USB Type-C port with a speed of 5 Gbps and supports wireless interfaces such as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and Near Field Communication (NFC).

Realme GT5 Pro is equipped with a battery that has a capacity of 5400 mAh and accepts wired charging at 100W and wireless charging at 50W.

The Realme GT5 Pro is not prohibitively expensive. There is a pricing difference between the top version, which has 16 GB of RAM and 1024 GB of storage, which costs just 4198 yuan (about $590), and the base configuration, which has 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which costs 3298 yuan (roughly $464). The prices listed here are only available for a limited time and will likely increase during the next few days. Furthermore, it is important to point out that all phones ready for launch were sold out within the first hour of sales. It is currently unknown when Realme intends to sell the GT5 Pro model on the global market.
