Virginia Giuffre, the former accuser of American financier Jeffrey Epstein, sued Prince Andrew, claiming she was brought to the UK at the age of 17 to have sex with the Duke of York. The information is as per the complaint filed before a New York court, in which she accuses the son of Queen Elizabeth of having sexually abused her in New York and London.
Prince Andrew has already denied all accusations against him. “It did not happen, I can categorically say that it never happened, I have no recollection of meetings with this woman”, the Duke of York told the BBC some time ago, against whom the first accusations were leveled a couple of years ago.
According to the complaint, Prince Andrew allegedly sexually abused Giuffre – who at the time called herself Virginia Roberts – in the London home of Epstein’s partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, and in Epstein’s residences in Manhattan and Little St James, in the Virgin Islands. The financier, a friend of powerful such as Bill Clinton and Bill Gates, was accused of sexual abuse and international trafficking of minors and committed suicide in prison on August 10 two years ago.
