Members of the American pop-rock group Jonas Brothers have uploaded on the Web the track “Remember this”, remade to accompany the American broadcast of the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The Grammy nominees will officially unveil the song on television on July 21 on the Olympic dreams featuring Jonas Brothers TV show, two days before the Games’ opening ceremony. The air will be shown on NBC.
The excerpt from “Remember this” was first played in May at the Billboard Music Awards. Now the release has taken place in digital format. The musicians added the melody to a positive lyric video posted on YouTube. The video is compiled from concert photographs in which fans are holding posters with lines from the song.
Music News emphasizes that the song, which will sound on NBC in July, will include new words inspired by the sports extravaganza and the US national team. The members of the Jonas Brothers will perform the composition in this form for the first time.
This summer, the Jonas Brothers are planning to embark on a concert tour called “Remember this”, which kicks off on August 20 in Las Vegas.
