British supermodel Kate Moss was named creative director of Diet Coke, the sugar-free, calorie-free version of popular soft drink brand Coca-Cola on Friday, the company said.
A 2000s runway icon who has continued to work in the fashion industry, Moss fills a post which had been vacant for a decade and was previously held by the American designer Marc Jacobs.
Moss happily accepted the offer and immediately starred in an advertisement called “Love what you love.”
The campaign is dedicated to people who look at life positively and never lose heart. In the pictures, Kate posed in bright red gloves, which are combined with the logo of the Diet Coke brand.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the Diet Coke family. I love the brand’s past collaborations because they’ve done them with real fashion icons. I immediately liked the campaign because I truly believe that confidence and passion can help us make our wildest dreams come true,” – the model said.
