Today, Astral Adhesives, a maker of adhesives in India that is a part of Astral Limited, officially announced that it has inaugurated its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat.
This facility spans 17 acres. It is equipped with cutting-edge technology. This facility has been built to be in line with the goals of the company. As a result, it features state-of-the-art automation, rigorous compliance with safety regulations, and attention to ergonomics.
It marked the company’s pioneering Greenfield initiative. The event was attended by Sandeep Engineer, Chairman and Managing Director of Astral Limited, and the entire Engineer family.
In light of the event’s significance, Saumya Engineer, Chief Executive Officer of the Adhesives Business at Astral Limited, said that opening this manufacturing facility is a major milestone in the company’s drive to expand its business. It improves the company’s product delivery by bolstering the skills it already possesses, streamlining the processes it uses, and standardising the production, he said. According to him, because the company possesses a sizable storage capacity for raw materials and finished products, it is well-prepared to meet the ever-changing demands of the Indian market and customers from other countries.
The Dahej factory offers Astral a variety of strategic advantages, which collectively serve to bolster the company’s capabilities across several fronts. The company’s manufacturing capacity is greatly increased as a result, enabling the company to satisfy a wider variety of requirements posed by customers. Astral will ensure its goods’ homogeneity and consistency using advanced automation and quality control systems, according to the company statement.
