After making history on Billboard Hot 100 chart with their second English single ‘Butter,’ the k-pop superstars BTS are all set to release a remix version of the same with rapper Megan Thee Stallion as the featuring artist.
Fans are really excited after hearing the announcement made by the BTS stars on August 25, 2021.
In a statement released on the social networking site ‘Weverse by BTS’ label BIGHIT Music, it read, “‘Butter’ by BTS has had the singular honour of reaching no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 nine times, the most by any song to date in 2021. To celebrate this historic BTS milestone that was made possible by our fans, we would like to announce the release of a new ‘Butter’ remix version.”
On Wednesday, Rapper Megan Thee Stallion shared in an Instagram post a release poster of the remix and wrote: “LOVE YOU ALL. BUTTER REMIX 8.27.” She tagged the Korean boy band’s Instagram page alongside her post.
BigHit music, the record label of BTS, confirmed this news and said the remix would be released on August 27 featuring Megan Thee Stallion.
Previously, Megan Thee Stallion wanted to release the remix version of the song ‘Butter’ this Friday but was prevented from doing it because of her record label. Before making this huge announcement, the rapper had filed a petition on Tuesday in a Harris County, Texas, court, alleging that 1501 Certified Entertainment and its CEO Carl Crawford were stopping her from releasing the song.
The Texas court has given a green signal to the Rapper Megan Thee Stallion to release the remix version of the much-loved song ‘Butter’ by BTS.
Megan Thee Stallion is one of the finest rappers in the industry who has become a huge sensation through her songs, including ‘Body Ody’, ‘Savage’, and multiple huge collaborations.
