Jacqueline Fernandez stopped at Mumbai Airport, witnesses in an extortion case of Rs 200 crore

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was stopped at Mumbai Airport on Sunday evening. She was headed to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for ‘The-Bang’ tour’ of Salman Khan. The Bollywood actress has been questioned in a money laundering case worth about 200 crores, which is connected to Sukesh Chandrashekhar who is now trapped by Enforcement Directorate (ED). ED has issued a lookout circular has been issued against Jacqueline. Previously, the ED had also questioned actress Nora Fatehi in this case.

According to the ED, Jacqueline got a cat worth nine lakhs as a gift. ED considers Jacqueline as an important witness. Sukesh, who is presently lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail is alleged to have dated Jacqueline. During the courtship, Sukesh is suspected to have presented Jacqueline with a cat worth 9 lakh rupees.

Sukesh Chandrasekhar told during interrogation that he had gifted a horse of Rs 52 lakh to Jacqueline along with four Persian cats. ED has found many pieces of evidence, including photos proving the closeness of Jacqueline and Sukesh. The ED also questioned Jacqueline in August. ED has filed a 7 thousand page charge sheet against Sukesh Chandrashekhar, his wife Leena Maria Paul and six other people.

An FIR has been registered against Sukesh and the six others by the Economic Offenses Wing of Delhi Police. ED, after the raid had said that Sukesh Chandrashekhar was the mastermind of the fraud. Sukesh has been a part of the crime world since the age of 17. The ED had seized Sukesh’s sea-facing bungalow in Chennai on August 24. 82.5 lakh rupees, 2 kg gold and more than 12 luxury cars were seized from the bungalow.
