Actress Kangana Ranaut is on overdrive over the issue of ‘movie mafias’ of Bollywood who played a key role in the suffering of the Chhichhore actor Sushant Singh Rajput leading to his alleged suicide. Bollywood personalities including Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt and Javed Akhtar have been the target of these accusations. Another set of Bollywood Tinsel Town personalities including Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Salman Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhaskar and others are also in the line of fire under nepotism and favouritism charges. most of the accused have countered her charges citing personal vendetta by Kangana Ranaut.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has filed an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty which is being investigated by Bihar Police along with Mumbai Police. The family is now represented by lawyer Vikas Singh. Speaking to Zoom TV over the issue of Kangana’s accusations, the lawyer said “To my knowledge, Kangana has not contacted the family but if in some other day she has contacted some other member of the family then I might not know. Kangana has not contacted my client, Mr KK Singh.”
Speaking about nepotism, the lawyer said: “Maybe an actors association or producers Association can take up this matter but I don’t think that this case has anything to do with what Kangana has suggested or anybody else is talking about.”
The Panga actress has been summoned by the Mumbai Police to give a statement in the case of Sushant’s death but since she is in her hometown of Manali at the moment, she has refused to travel to Mumbai for the same.
