The singer Maluma will lend his voice to one of the characters in “Encanto”, the Disney animated film that will be set in Colombia.

The movie is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard with co-director and co-writer Charise Castro Smith and is produced by Yvett Merino and Clark Spencer.
Encanto is the story of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family who live in a magical house in the mountains of Colombia. Except for Mirabel (voice by Stephanie Beatriz), every child in the family has been blessed with a unique magic gift.
An ordinary teenager, Mirabel tries to find her place and value among the generations in her vibrant and lively community when she learns that the Madrigal magic may very well be in danger.
