Former CM Captain Amarinder Singh is slowly opening his cards after saying goodbye to Congress. Captain has opened the office of his party Punjab Lok Congress in Chandigarh. Now Captain Amarinder Singh has claimed that his alliance with the BJP has been finalised. At the same time, he is still in talks for seats with Shiromani Akali Dal (United).
Capt Amarinder Singh spoke to ANI on alliance with BJP, “Our party Punjab Lok Congress’s alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party has been decided. We have to talk about seats. Soon it will be decided on which seat the candidate of which party will stand?
It is being told that apart from the BJP, Amarinder Singh is also trying to bring the rebel leader of Shiromani Akali Dal Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa to his side.
The former CM said that “Alignment of seats will also be done with Sukhdev Dhindsa’s party. I have told both the parties (BJP and SAD combined) that we have to bet only on the winning candidates and support them.
Let us inform you that Captain Amarinder Singh has also met Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the Punjab Assembly Election 2022. The Captain said that if the BJP government withdraws all three agricultural laws, he can extend his support to the BJP. However, no official announcement has been made about the alliance from both parties yet.
