I wish I had walked out with him for his unfair elimination: Rubina Dilaik’s biggest regret

Date:

Bigg Boss season 14 winner, and television actress Rubina Dilaik is known for her own bold opinions. Even on the show Rubina Dilaik was very vocal about just everything. Be it her disliking for a co-contestant or pointing out at the host Salman Khan’s disrespectful comment, Rubina has never been afraid to speak her mind. She is indeed a strong, opinionated personality. Now it seems like Rubina has realised her biggest regret.

In a recent Instagram post the actress shared her epiphany. Rubina said that she regrets not walking out with her husband Abhinav Shukla when he ‘unfairly’ got evicted from the house after 130 days. Rubina and Abhinav were the first couple to have jointly taken part in the show. She also took a dig at the ‘less deserving’ and ‘less competitive’ contestants of the show, who went ahead instead of Abhinav.

She wrote, “I have been asked so many times, what was that one thing you regret doing or not doing in BB14 House!! Then I didn’t have a clarity of thoughts, had mixed emotions and was overwhelmed with so much happening!”

“Now when I look back, and one thing that hits me hard was the visual of the day ABHINAV was eliminated. Fate of his BB14 journey was handed over to a bunch of “less competent” members who were not even in the race, and had ULTERIOR motive and I didn’t even PROTEST! I was so soaked up in pain and anguish that I didn’t even see it for what it was. I wish I had WALKED OUT with him for his UNFAIR elimination (Not by Bigg Boss) by them who could not Justify their own journey and existence on the Show… (sic).” Rubina added.

She captioned the post, “Had an epiphany! This REMAINS my biggest REGRET !”

Supporting her wife Abhinav Shukla commented, Life is unfair, Big Boss is a great social experiment, whenever you feel its unfair smile and eat an apple….. but 2 min silence for those who got spent like a used cartridge emptied all they had and still got voted out.

He added, And baby, you are a winner because you didn’t give up, the kind of pressure, tirade and rebuke you endured without wavering is a victory. You finished my battle!

Abhinav Shukla was nominated because of the decision made by the co-contestants of Big boss 14. Rubina Dilaik never spoke about it but now it seems like she regrets that moment.

Nikki Tamboli, one of the finalist and Rubina’s very close friend, also commented, Exactly that day even I can’t forget. Btw loved the last line. But anyway babe thik hai jo ho Gaya wo ho Gaya (whatever happened, happened). Loveee you @ashukla09 @rubinadilaik, with heart emoji’s.

Rubina Dilaik won Bigg Boss 14 by beating Rahul Vaidya, Aly Goni, Nikki Tamboli and Rakhi Sawant. From rejection as a contestant to making her way to the finale, her journey has definitely been a commendable one.
