Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account to celebrate her engagement with Sam Asghari

After sharing the news of her engagement with long time beau Sam Asghari, Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account and left her fans astonished.

She has used her accounts to update fans on her battle to end a 13-year conservatorship that has controlled both her personal life and finances.

After deleting her Instagram account, she later clarified on Twitter and wrote, “Don’t worry folks… just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement!!!! I’ll be back soon”.

Britney said that she is “taking a brief break from social media” to celebrate her recent engagement with her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari.

Popstar Britney Spears announced her engagement news on Instagram on September 13. She flaunted a diamond ring that Sam Asghari presented to her. The diamond ring is engraved with the word “lioness.” Lioness is the nickname for Britney by her boyfriend.

The news of her engagement came days after her father filed to end the court conservatorship that has controlled the singer’s life and money for 13 years.

 She shared her engagement news through an Instagram post She wrote, “I can’t (expletive) believe it!” with an Instagram video post where she winks, kisses a smiling Asghari on the cheek, and answers “yes!” when he asks if she likes the ring.

Britney Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline. She was briefly married to childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004.
